
UPCOMING RIDES AND BIKE EVENTS IN THE TRI-CITIES
Valley Beautiful-Unicoi Bike and Car Show
The Valley Beautiful-Unicoi Bike and Car Show is set for Saturday, July 5th from 9am-2pm at Walmart, 110 Rock Bottom Road in Unicoi. There will also be a ride, Kickstands up at 11:30 and it’s $20 per bike. It’s also $20 to register for the Bike and Car Show and registration ends at noon. All proceeds go to Niswonger Children’s Miracle Network, helping children in the Tri-Cities area.
Shoebox for Soldiers Ride
The 2nd Annual Shoebox for Soldiers Ride hosted by Enforcers Motorcycle Club will be Saturday, July 12th. Registration begins at 9:30, kick stands up at 10:30, the ride will leave from Homestead Antiques in Church Hill and end at Black Wolf Harley Davidson in Bristol, Virginia. The cost is $20 per bike and proceeds will be used care packages for Soldiers and our 4 legged service members.
Bike Night with Biker Wear to benefit the local Honor Flight Chapter
Biker Wear will sponsor Bike Night on Saturday, July 12th at Wild Wing Café, 71 Wilson Avenue in downtown Johnson City. The street will be blocked off for designated Motorcycle parking on Commerce Street. Enjoy beer specials, live music from Jason Lloyd and prize raffles. Proceeds benefit Honor Flight of the Appalachian Highlands. It’s starts at 6:30 and everyone is welcome!
The Lost State of Franklin Motorcycle Ride
The Lost State of Franklin Motorcycle Ride is Saturday, July 26th beginning at Greeneville Lodge #3 and ending at Wrecking Crew Harley Davidson in Johnson City where they’ll have food, door prizes and music. It’s about a 189 mile ride open to Masons and anyone with 2 wheels. Registration fee is $20 per rider, $10 per passenger.
Anniversary Party and Bike Night
Tennessee Peacemakers Motorcycle Club Greeneville Chapter will hold their 5th anniversary Party and Bike Night August 1st and 2nd at 6605 Baileyton Road in Greeneville. They’ll have live music Friday night from Crowe Band, vendors, food trucks, pool and good times. Camping is also available. The cost is $20 per person.
Ride To End Childhood Cancer
The Kingsport Moose Riders will host the Ride To End Childhood Cancer on Saturday, August 2nd. Meet at the Kingsport Moose Lodge, registration begins at noon, the cost is $20 per bike, kickstands up at 2pm. Come out for the Pre-party on Friday, August 1st at Kingsport Moose Lodge with live music from Asylum Suite. It’s $10 to get in, Phil’s Dream Pit will be there with delicious food available, plus they’ll have games, prizes and more! All proceeds will benefit Niswonger Children’s Hospital’s St. Jude Affiliate Clinic.
Hear the Rumble Charity Run
The 2nd Annual Hear the Rumble Charity Ride, hosted by Waiting the Hear, roars into Wise, Virginia on Saturday, August 16th! Meet up at the David J. Prior Convocation Center at Uva Wise, kickstands up at 10:30am for a more than 100 mile loop through Southwest Virginia’s Appalachian Mountains. They’ll break for lunch at Axe Handle Distilling in Pennington Gap to enjoy a free concert by Black Belt Preacher. The grand prize is a weekend vacation in Pigeon Forge. Veterans Memorial Park Benefit Ride
U.S. Military Vets Motorcycle Club will host the 2nd Annual Veterans Memorial Park Benefit Ride on August 16th beginning at Veterans Memorial Park. Registration starts at 10am, kick stands up at 11:30 for the 75 mile loop ride with scenic views. The fee is $25 per rider and $5 per passenger which covers the ride, the catered taco bar and live music from The Color 7. All proceeds will be donated exclusively to Veterans Memorial Park, 803 Forest Street in Greeneville, for care and upkeep. In case of rain, all activities will be moved to the Peacemakers Clubhouse at 6605 Baileyton Road.
Tri-Cities Takeover 4
The official team 421 2025 and wrecking crew Harley Davidson presents Tri-Cities Takeover 4 in honor of Stuart Bassine, Colton Shankle, Jason Byas, Sam Sneed “Junior”, Sebastian Hensley and Andrew Autry. The event is Sunday, August 24th at 10am at Wrecking Crew Harley Davidson in Johnson City and you are invited.
The Randy Ride
The 6th Annual Memorial Benefit Ride is set for Saturday, August 23rd! Registration is from 10-noon at Tulips grub and Pub in Johnson City. Kickstands up at noon with stops at the Erwin Elks 1985, Bobarosa Saloon, Jonesborough VFW 9724 and Tennessee Hills Distillery before ending at Tulips. Proceeds go to the Randy Gardner Memorial Scholarship of Unicoi County High School 25-26 Academic Year.
Ride For Wreaths
Rolling Thunder TN 4 will host their Annual Ride For Wreaths on Saturday, September 6th at 10am. Meet at Crossroads Christian Church, 1800 Suncrest Drive in Gray. The cost is $17 per person which includes free coffee and refreshments. Kickstands up at 11:30 for the police escorted scenic ride to Johnson City, Jonesborough, Piney Flats and Bluff City. Jeeps, cars and trucks are also welcome. The Family Friendly Fair opens at noon at Impact Community Center, 337 Carter Street in Bluff City. $17 walk in admission, $5 cookout lunch, fun and games, music and more!
