Slash Plays L.A. Benefit Show with Assorted Guests
Slash recently took to the stage with an assortment of the names he's been collaborating with as of late. The famed guitarist called upon Billy Idol, Ozzy Osbourne, Tom Morello and Linkin Park's Chester Bennington for a benefit show in Los Angeles on Sunday, November 22nd.
The former Guns N' Roses shredder teamed with myriad guest stars at the Los Angeles Youth Network charity show at the Avalon. The event helped raise funds to benefit the homeless.
Also joining Slash were former bandmates Duff McKagan and Steven Adler, who played in both Guns N' Roses and Velvet Revolver. Together with Bennington, the group performed a rocking rendition of "Paradise City."
Additionally, Wolfmother singer Andrew Stockdale made an appearance, as did Jane's Addiction's Dave Navarro and Blink 182's Travis Barker.
Slash is currently at work on his solo effort Slash And Friends, and has been working with a bevy of musicians for the album, slated to hit stores in 2010.
